My practice is highly varied; my portfolio ranges from paintings to illustrations to 3D product design to public sculptures but all still retain a science theme at their core. I have a BA in Art History from the University of Manchester; my dissertation research topic was  Eduardo Paolozzi’s ‘Turing Suite’ series of prints and how the artist used this body of work to not only explore the technological advancements that had happened in his lifetime but also question if art was communicative or esoteric.
Some projects I have worked on in the past include the public science communication sculptures, the ‘Resilience’ card game about flood/climate change, hyper realistic bee illustrations and the ‘Science Pusheen’ cartoons which have been floating around social media. I am currently doing a MSc in Physical Geography at the University of Hull, researching new methods of communicating geoscience topics using card games and art.
I have experience in public speaking at events and organising workshops for events. If you’d like to enquire about the above, projects, commissioning me or just fancy a chat, feel free to drop me an email or DM on Twitter! :-)
